Process Technician

Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) operates its 100% owned high-grade Bellevue gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a long mine life and is forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces a year.

Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration in progress to expand the current high-grade resource.

The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold, lithium and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and operating major gold mines.

The Process Technician is responsible for operating the processing plant and equipment in a safe, environmentally responsible, productive and efficient manner.

This role is permanent full time and is based on site on an 8 days on 6 days off followed by 7 nights on 7 days off, fly in fly out roster.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Practical operation of all processing plant equipment relating to: Grinding, Gravity, Leach, Adsorption, Crushing, Elution and the Tails Storage Facility as required.

Ensure operational checks are completed and noted defects are actioned.

Accurate reporting of daily logs and shift notes, recording variance to any metallurgical processing parameters.

Identify and diagnose, where possible, items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair.

Identify and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant.

Operate the IT loader, bobcat, forklift, and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Perform plant and equipment isolations as per the procedure.

Development and use of Permit to Work documentation.

Undertaking hazard analysis and ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported.

Develop, implement and maintain adherence to appropriate procedures and processes.

Maintain a good housekeeping standard.

Other duties as request by your Supervisor / Manager.

Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies

Minimum 3 years industry experience

Valid WA C class drivers license

Well-developed communication skills

Licence to operate forklift, skid steer, overhead gantry crane, loader, IT are preferred

Cert III in Metalliferous Processing desirable

Confined Space Entry and Gas Test Atmospheres desirable

* Commissioning experience desirable
