Procurement Coordinator

The Role

Are you organised, proactive and great at building relationships with suppliers? We’re looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join our Purchasing team in Elland. You'll play an important role in keeping our purchasing and supply chain running smoothly.

This is a varied role, working closely with colleagues and suppliers to make sure we have the right materials, products and services available when we need them.

What You’ll Be Doing

Coordinating day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities

Raising and managing purchase orders

Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders and monitor deliveries

Building and maintaining positive supplier relationships

Supporting stock and materials management

Monitoring orders, lead times and availability

Working with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements

Keeping procurement records and administration up to date

Helping identify opportunities to improve costs, processes and supplier performance

Supporting the wider team with general procurement and purchasing requirements

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.

Experience of negotiating with suppliers.

Good commercial awareness.

Experience using ERP or purchasing systems (Dynamics 365 desirable).

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
