Job Description:

An opportunity to shape the future of a Gartner Magic Quadrant leading product.

Darktrace / HYBRID NETWORK is our Network Detection and Response offering: multi-layered AI that understands normal behaviour across an organisation's entire digital infrastructure and surfaces the anomalies that signature-based tools miss. We are looking for a Product Manager to own its direction.

The brief is intentionally broad. Your experience as a Product Manager may already come alongside expertise in network security from experience as a network or security engineer, solutions engineer or related product manager. Or you may have technical expertise in a different area entirely, but be interested in the deep challenge that is network security.

Responsibilities

  • Own the NDR roadmap end to end — determining what is built, why, and in what sequence.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the underlying technology.
  • Engage directly with customers operating complex environments — zero-trust, cloud-connected, heavily segmented and legacy estates — and translate those insights into product decisions.
  • Partner with R&D to represent customer needs, prioritise features and fixes, and test new functionality ahead of release.
  • Work with Product Marketing on positioning, launch planning and go-to-market strategy, ensuring the narrative reflects the technical reality.
  • Enable technical go-to-market teams through training, demonstrations and accurate product documentation.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for the NDR portfolio.

Experience

Successful candidates will bring one or more of the following:

- Product management experience within network security or a closely adjacent domain.

- Product management experience in a technical domain and demonstrating deep knowledge and expertise.

- Hands-on experience delivering security outcomes in network security — such as network architecture, decryption, or Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).

- Experience deploying, maintaining or operating Darktrace or a comparable NDR platform.

Candidates should bring prior product management experience alongside evident of technical depth. We place equal value on candidates who understand the problem domain deeply and are motivated to develop the product craft.

You will thrive in this role if you

- Are technically curious and rigorous in developing your understanding.

- Can hold a credible conversation with both an engineering team and a CISO.

- Think analytically, make evidence-based decisions, and are comfortable prioritising with discipline.

- Are motivated by influencing technology that protects organisations worldwide. Benefits:

- 23 days’ holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service,

- Additional day off for your birthday,

- Private medical insurance which covers you, your cohabiting partner and children,

- Life insurance of 4 times your base salary,

- Salary sacrifice pension scheme,

- Enhanced family leave,

- Confidential Employee Assistance Program,

- Cycle to work scheme.

As a growing business strengthening its governance and controls, this role plays a part in supporting high standards of integrity and accountability.
