Production Assistant

CK Import Export is looking for a Production Assistant to join our frozen packing and processing team. We are a family-owned business located in Te Awamutu that processes and packs product for both domestic and export markets.

We operate within a high hygiene food environment, and we are looking for people who can work in a fast paced ever changing environment. You will also need to be able to work as part of a team or on your own.   Providing clear processing documentation and associated computer work are part of this position.

You do not need any experience in the food or meat processing industry.  You will be fully trained for this role.

This is a physical, hands-on role where you will be on your feet all day every day. The hours of work are 7:30am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. There are times where the team is required to come in early or finish late to complete packing an order.

Applicants must be able to pass a drug test.   There are also other requirements for personal hygiene as part of a high hygiene food environment, which will form part of any interview process.
