About the role
The Line Setter role is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 2:20pm to 10:50pm, based in Mangere, Auckland. You will assist the production packing team by driving productivity and efficiency through labeling and packaging lines.
Key responsibilities
Set up the dry area labeling and packing line
Follow the production plan
Pack products as per batch document
Perform line clearance of the packing line according to standard operating procedure
Fill batch records for labeling of products
Clean and sanitize packing line according to standard operating procedure
Perform in-process checks according to batch documents and standard operating procedures
Maintain regular maintenance of packing line to ensure the line is running efficiently and safely
Escalate any equipment and production failures
Train operators on setting up packing lines
About you
Experience in manufacturing required
Experience working on a packing line, preferably an automated line
Mechanically minded, with at least 3 years Line Setting Experience
Good written and spoken communication skills
A good level of physical fitness as there are often long periods of standing
Strong adherence to workplace health and safety practices
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail
Understanding of the importance of working to strict deadlines
