About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Group Engineering team at our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Longburn, Palmerston North in supporting 3 waters projects at the site.

You will assist in the development and execution of the national dairy capital plan, and design & implement roadmaps for 3 waters developments - imminently, Bore & Treatment Plant, and Storm Water Management ensuring all capital solutions are delivered with compliance and effective stakeholder management.

In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include

Design and implement roadmaps for 3 waters developments at the Longburn site - imminently; Bore & Treatment Plant and Storm Water Management

Preparation of initial feasibility studies for FEED and capital approvals

Support execution of bore drilling and work associated with take and testing of raw water

Support scoping and execution of raw water treatment plant construction

Programme level scoping of trade-taste treatment plant

Note: This role is a 18 month fixed term contract.

About You

In order to make this role a success, we are looking for a qualified Project Engineer ideally with a few years' experience in delivering Capital, Industrial, or Automation projects.

Specifically, some of the experiences and skillsets we are looking for include:

An Engineering qualification (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Process) is a must; a qualification in Project Management would be highly beneficial

Experience with Project Organization, cost estimation and scheduling. Familiar with Scope of Work documents & Technical Performance specifications

Experience with brown field project delivery and 3 waters projects

* Experience with AutoCAD for 2D layouts and P&IDs
