As a Public Transport Support Officer, you will provide general administrative support across the Public Transport Planning and Operations Team, working closely with a wide range of internal and external partners. Building positive relationships with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders will be central to your success.

This is a highly varied role where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities include:

Stakeholder communications,

Managing the impact of road closures

Arranging bus stop suspensions

Production and distribution of bus passes

Managing team and department mailboxes

Coordinating and providing responses to routine correspondence.

Assisting the Mainstream Schools transport Team

To succeed in this role, you will be:

Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload

Passionate about delivering high-quality services to the people of Kent

Interested in transport and how it supports communities

An effective communicator, confident dealing with a variety of stakeholders

Experienced in customer service, with the ability to handle challenging situations

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

You will work a 37-hour week, typically between 08:00 and 17:00. The role has flexible working arrangements, including a mix of home and office-based work.
