QA Lead

Our client is delivering the first phase of a Hawkes Bay solar farm, a significant renewable energy project where the client is self-performing all civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.

They are seeking a QA Lead on a temporary assignment for six months to establish and lead quality assurance across the site. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role that will shape the quality standards and compliance framework for the project from the ground up.

Six-month temporary assignment based on site in the Hawkes Bay, with direct responsibility for QA systems and team support

Preferred Requirements

Proven quality assurance experience in construction or heavy engineering, with demonstrated site leadership capability

Strong knowledge of QA processes, testing protocols, and compliance documentation across multiple trades

Experience managing quality on projects involving civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines

Ability to lead and mentor QA teams, establish inspection schedules, and drive compliance across site

Familiarity with renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

Formal qualification in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Construction Management

Current certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
