QUALIFIED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN or minimum 3 years workshop experience required to work in one of NZ’s largest independently owned workshops, specialising in Aston Martin, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Full time 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 8am-4.30pm (No weekends – that’s for family and fun). Off street parking for 1 vehicle. Join us at Autohaus Auckland, at the bottom of the hill in Parnell.

If you have experience with any of our 3 specialty brands, your application will go straight to the top of the list, however apply if you have a desire to learn our brands and already have general automotive experience. Having a current WOF certificate or be willing to obtain this will also boost your application

ABOUT YOU

• Excellent all round mechanical and diagnostic skills – You will be carrying out everything from servicing to engine rebuilds. Diagnosing customer complaints and carrying out the repairs is the main aspect of the job.

• MINIMUM 3 years workshop experience. More is better. Experience with our brands (1 or more) will see us smile however apply if you have general experience

• Ability to write and read English well is a must. You will be writing clear, understandable stories, and will need to follow instructions from our two service advisors.

• WOF Certified – great! This will help your application or be willing to seek certification

• Have a fix it once, fix it right attitude and ability

• Aware of Health and Safety requirements

• Supply your own tool box

ABOUT AUTOHAUS AUCKLAND

Although our 3 specialty brands are Aston Martin, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz, we tend to look after all the vehicles in the same house, so many other brands are also maintained at Autohaus Auckland.

Autohaus Auckland began in the 1970’s, with current owners Byron and Shelley Martin taking the reigns in 2014 in Nugent Street. We quickly outgrew these premises and moved to our current site 15 Stanley Street in 2018.

With this position filled we will have 7 techs and an apprentice. With 16 hoists they are seldomly empty. The workshop is a busy place with a huge range of variety daily.
