Qualified Carpenter

We are looking for an experienced, trade-qualified Carpenter / Builder who wants consistent work on professionally run sites with clear expectations. As we expand our residential and commercial project footprint across Auckland, this role offers the opportunity to apply your trade expertise, take ownership on-site, and build a strong reputation within a growing team.

This role suits a qualified builder who is thoroughly comfortable on construction sites, follows plans and instructions accurately, works well independently, and represents our business professionally.

Type of Work

You will be working across residential builds and commercial projects. Some projects may involve travel within New Zealand, with accommodation organised for you.

Across our sites, you will gain exposure to diverse framing, cladding, structural, and fit-out systems. Responsibility and autonomy are earned through proven performance and high standards, not constant supervision.

You are likely a good fit if you:

Hold a NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or an equivalent recognized trade qualification.

Hold a current Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) license (Carpentry) or are eligible and actively pursuing it.

Can follow plans accurately and execute tasks without constant check-ins.

Understand the NZ Building Code, site safety compliance (Health and Safety at Work Act 2015), and professional site standards.

Turn up on time, communicate clearly, carry a full kit of trade tools, and take genuine pride in doing the job properly.

This role is not for you if you:

Need close, line-by-line supervision throughout the workday.

Struggle with early starts, site discipline, or meeting project timelines.

Are uncomfortable taking ownership of your work on-site.

Work Entitlement:

Applicants must currently reside in New Zealand and hold valid NZ work rights (NZ Citizen, NZ Permanent Resident, or a valid NZ Open Work Visa).

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 68.0 per week
