Tootill Services is looking for a qualified and experienced tradesperson to join our growing team. We will provide training to develop your skills and knowledge, however an interest for learning new things is essential. You will be joining a team of refrigeration technicians, gas fitters/plumber and electricians to maintain, service and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
This job is very technical and as we encounter a variety of machines and faults, you need to be good at problem solving. This makes your job varied, challenging and interesting. We also offer a range of general electrical work to our commercial customers as well.
Our workshop is based in Palmerston North, and we serve the Manawatū-Whanganui and upper Wellington Regions.

Applicants would need
- Be a New Zealand qualified and registered electrician, electrical service technician or electrical installer. Other electrical classifications may be considered based off previous applicance experience.
- Practical mindset, common sense and to be able to think on your feet.
- Hold a current EWRB practicing license.
- Have a clean full NZ driver’s license.
- Be professional, honest and trustworthy.
- Take pride in your work and be proactive when necessary.
- Great people skills, both with fellow workmates and customers.
- Be able to work un-supervised, run your own jobs and train apprentices.
