Qualified Scaffolder

TANA NZ Ltd is one of Auckland and Wellington’s larger Scaffolding, False Work/Propping and Formwork providers. We have a very large inventory of plant. Enough to service any sized project in Commercial, Residential, Civil, Industrial and Event sectors. Tana NZ has been very successful in securing many large-scale projects, on top of our existing secured works across the whole North Island of NZ, including Auckland, Wellington, Waikato and Bay of Plenty. We have also many more in negotiations. The team at Tana NZ is expanding again and we are looking for the following roles to be filled in our Auckland and Wellington branches.

Scaffolders key tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure safe erection and dismantle of equipment as per standard Company policies and procedures or “Best Practice Guidelines”.
• Calculate scaffold loadings and establish appropriate scaffolding platform to build.
• Ensure site instruction / purchase order / notice to contractor has been received and noted before proceeding with any variations outside the quoted scope of works.
• When job complete must do a final site clearance check to ensure all equipment has been removed, stacked and ready for pick up.
• Stack equipment safely ready for pick up or transportation.

Required Qualifications required for the job

• NCII or Sarnz COC Qualification with minimum 3 years experience.
• Working at Heights (can be supplied)
• Site Safe (can be supplied)
• Confined Spaces (can be supplied)

Wage range

Qualified and Skilled Scaffolders $30 - $35

Leading Hand Scaffolders $34 - $38 + incentive bonus measured each week with a max of $2.50 extra per hour

Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours work each week but can work up to 55 hours.

Successful candidates must have the following:

• A good attitude towards work, an eye for detail and a willingness to grow within the business

• Be reliable and trustworthy
