Quality Specialist

Location: Fayetteville, NC Salary: $60,000.00 USD Annually - $75,000.00 USD Annually Description: Judge Direct Placement is seeking a qualified Quality Specialist for a Food Manufacturing client in Fayetteville, NC.

Food manufacturing experience is a REQUIRED

• Must be USA Citizen or Green Card holder*

Job Summary

Assists the FSQA Team with all aspects pertaining to Quality Assurance

& Food Safety and regulatory compliance within the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Monitor regulatory compliance of various operations
• Monitor HACCP and SSOP compliance
• Monitor and ensure company Quality and SQF/GFSI Standards
• Assists with the company's Environmental Monitoring Program.
• Develop and assist with employee training
• Work with and assist USDA.
• Create and maintain records relating to monitoring activities
• Provide feedback to the Vice President of FSQA
• Any other duties requested by Vice President of FSQA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent computer skills - MS Office suite
• Good oral and written communication skills (Spanish a plus)
• Familiar with USDA and FDA regulations
• Able to work under pressure/stressful situations
• Able to work independently and efficiently
• Flexible with working hours and job functions
• Willing to learn and follow directions
• Able to work cooperatively with other departments
• Able to strictly maintain confidentiality
• Able to work in a cold, damp environment.

Desired Qualifications

• College education preferred
• Experience in QA/food safety preferred, HACCP / PCQI certified.

• Must be flexible to work any shift as needed.
