Luigi Crotti founded the San Remo culture and tradition of pasta making in 1936. Today, it remains a privately owned, 100% Australian company, and our manufacturing site in Adelaide combines traditional pasta-making “know-how” with modern, automated technology.
Our Dry Creek site has a rare opportunity for a Distribution Team member to work as a full-time Reach Truck Operator and secure a stable position with a steady workload within the food industry.
About the Role:
Operating Standing Crown & Linde Reach Trucks, our warehousing staff enjoy regular rostered full-time hours and opportunities to work overtime.
You will be responsible for
Accurately preparing, picking and loading goods as required;
Safe and efficient operation of our Crown & Linde Standing Reach Truck, including general care and maintenance;
Ensuring quarantine area management through sorting, tidying and good housekeeping;
Completing records for warehouse tasks as required, using computer management systems
Putting away much-loved San Remo products into the warehouse;
San Remo Dry Creek operates with a 5-day roster, so you must be willing to work a day shift role.
The roster is 07:50 AM to 04:00 PM Monday to Thursday, with a 02:00 PM finish on Friday.
About you:
Experience operating a Reach Truck, a Crown or Linde Truck is preferred but is not essential, in a large warehouse environment;
Great work ethic and sense of teamwork;
Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, preferably within the FMCG industry;
A current High Risk Work License with an LF accreditation;
Solid knowledge of warehouse documentation
Logistics and basic computer administration skills, including inventory systems
Experience with high-level order picking (desirable)
