Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced B2B Sales Manager to take ownership of the Australian market for a global leading custom RF, RF interconnect solution vendor.
Sales Manager
This is a true new business and direct sales role. You’ll be responsible for hunting and winning new customers, growing existing accounts and working alongside distributors and channel partners to expand market coverage.
The Role
Drive new business development across the Australian market.
Identify, prospect and win new customers and strategic accounts.
Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Work directly with customers across engineering, procurement, operations and management.
Develop projects and opportunities from initial engagement through to commercial close and ongoing account growth.
Work closely with Field Application Engineers and product teams to support customer requirements and technical opportunities.
Manage pricing, quotations and commercial negotiations.
Develop joint opportunities and customer activity with distributors and channel partners.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
Own sales forecasting, reporting and territory planning.
About You
5+ years' experience in B2B technical sales, business development or solution sales.
Proven track record of hunting new customers and winning new business.
Experience selling through a combination of direct customer engagement and channel/partner relationships.
Background in electronics, RF, interconnect, semiconductor, telecommunications or related technology is highly regarded.
Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable selling technical solutions to engineering and senior commercial stakeholders.
Self-motivated and capable of managing a geographically dispersed territory independently.
* Willingness to travel regularly across Australia and internationally when required.
