Registered Nurse

Working with the Intermediate Care Team, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care that helps people recover, maintain independence and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions. You’ll play an important role in supporting patients with a range of healthcare needs while working closely with colleagues to deliver safe, person-centred care.

As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, deliver and review care for patients in community bedded units. You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure patients receive compassionate, evidence-based care. You’ll also have opportunities to support junior colleagues, students and service improvement activities

What you’ll do:

Assess, plan and deliver safe, effective nursing care for a group of patients

Monitor patient progress and adapt care to meet changing needs

Work closely with colleagues, patients and families to support positive outcomes

Support and guide junior staff and learners during clinical practice

Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance activities

What we’re looking for:

Registered General Nurse (RGN/RN) qualification and current nursing experience

Strong communication and teamwork skills

An understanding of multidisciplinary team working

A commitment to learning, development and delivering high standards of care

A flexible approach and willingness to support services across different settings where needed
