Job Description

Educare Kapiti is seeking a passionate and capable kaiako to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on teaching with leadership, mentoring and curriculum development while making a meaningful difference in the lives of tamariki, whānau and kaiako.

At Educare Kapiti, respectful relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe great leadership creates great learning environments and we're looking for someone who can inspire others while maintaining a strong focus on high-quality outcomes for tamariki.

If you're passionate about developing people, driving quality practice and creating environments where children and teachers thrive, we'd love to hear from you.

About Us | Mō Mātou

Nau mai, haere mai ki Educare Kapiti. Mauria mai ō koutou whakaaro, wheako me tō wairua. Ka pai mātou ki te whakatau i a koe.

Educare Kapiti is home to a vibrant and supportive team who have built strong relationships with tamariki and whānau, creating a genuine sense of whanaungatanga throughout our centre community.

Nestled away from the road, our centre offers a unique setting with expansive outdoor spaces that encourage exploration, curiosity and connection with the natural environment. We are proud to have recently received the Countdown Growing for Good Grant, enabling us to further develop our sustainability initiatives through a new garden bed and worm farm project.

While our centre is organised into three age-based learning environments, a strong sense of connection and belonging brings us together as one centre whānau.
