Create hospital and physician estimates and obtain authorization requirements

Educate patients on benefits and payment expectations while securing pre-payments

Monitor financial assistance approvals and address patient billing inquiries through various channels

##### Required qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities

Advanced knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology

Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
