**The Role**

As Roofing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating roofing and scaffolding teams across residential and commercial projects including new installations, re-roofs, repairs, and maintenance work.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Coordinating roofing and scaffolding teams
• Planning daily workloads and overseeing site progress
• Organising, scheduling, and allocating staff, contractors, and materials
• Measuring and quoting jobs as required
• Inspecting projects and advising clients to achieve the best outcomes
• Auditing jobs to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance standards are met
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety requirements
• Training and mentoring apprentices and junior roofers
• Communicating effectively with management and clients

While your primary focus will be leadership and coordination, you will enjoy the opportunity to occasionally work on the tools when required.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will bring

• Proven roofing experience (trade qualification preferred)
• Previous leadership, foreman, or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems and safe scaffolding practices
• Solid understanding of New Zealand health & safety requirements
• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
• Basic computer literacy
• A full, clean NZ driver’s licence
