Job Description

The Wolseley Hospitality Group

We are looking for a commercially driven Sales and Partnerships Manager to win new business across The Wolseley Hospitality Group’s restaurants, private dining rooms and event spaces. You will be a naturally proactive commercial professional who builds networks, creates opportunities and turns conversations into profitable revenue.

You will own an ambitious sales pipeline, develop creative new occasions and work closely with our restaurant teams to deliver exceptional events. Your success will be rewarded through a commission-based bonus linked to measurable sales growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and deliver an ambitious sales plan, consistently pursuing and converting opportunities to exceed revenue targets.
  • Win new corporate, private dining, events, group booking and partnership business through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Build a strong pipeline from first contact through to proposal, negotiation, conversion and repeat business.
  • Create commercially viable partnerships and experiences that maximise revenue across different times, days and spaces.
  • Work closely with site and support teams to ensure every opportunity is profitable, practical and brilliantly delivered.
  • Be visible across our venues and present at key events, including some evenings and weekends.

What you’ll bring

  • A proactive and resourceful sales professional with a strong track record of generating new business and growing revenue.
  • Highly self-starting: comfortable creating opportunities, initiating conversations and maintaining momentum without waiting for leads to arrive.
  • Tenacious, resilient and motivated by stretching targets, with the discipline to follow through and close business.
  • Creative and commercially astute, able to turn ideas into well-costed, saleable and repeatable propositions.
  • A confident networker and relationship builder who communicates credibly with corporate clients, private hosts, partners and operational teams.
  • Well organised and data-aware, with strong pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative and hands-on, with an appreciation of the pace, detail and service standards required in luxury hospitality.
  • Flexible and willing to work across venues and attend events outside standard office hours when required.
  • Experience driving Group sales and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions/Events business.
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality, events, restaurants, hotels, venues or a closely related premium sector is strongly preferred.

Why you’ll love it here
