SAP BTP Platform Engineer

Apple's Cloud Platforms Engineering team is seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Platform Engineer to join our innovative and high-energy Cloud Platform team.

This is a highly technical and hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about building, deploying, and supporting business-critical cloud applications across SAP BTP, AWS, and GCP. You will work alongside a dynamic group of engineers dedicated to advancing cloud capabilities and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.

","responsibilities":"Design, deploy, and support full-stack applications across cloud environments including SAP BTP, AWS, and GCP.

Design and implement applications using SAP BTP services like CAP , Cloud Integration, API Management, AEM, etc.

Enhance reliability, observability, scalability, and performance through automation and cloud-native best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform.

Guide application teams on authentication, authorization, and other cloud security best practices.

Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the evolution of platform services.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.

Any experience working with modern cloud platforms and technologies is a plus.

Solid grasp of SAP BTP architecture including Global Accounts, Subaccounts, Entitlements, and Environments.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Exposure to cloud environments such as SAP BTP, AWS, or GCP.

Strong understanding of full-stack application design on cloud platforms.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolsets including GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform (or equivalents).

Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with open standards and platforms like Kyma or Cloud Foundry.

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of cloud security principles, particularly in the areas of authentication and authorization.

Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
