In this role, you will support, analyze, and configure SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions for one of the country's premier defense research organizations - driving financial operations, optimizing processes, and delivering end-to-end R2R expertise in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

Location

Remote (within 100 miles of Lexington, MA) | Onsite 1-2x per quarter | In-person onboarding required

Clearance

Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance | US Citizenship required

What You'll Do

• Support run operations of SAP S/4 environment with specific focus on the Finance organization
• Support month-end closing process including error analysis and resolution
• Understand desired outcomes, gather and document requirements
• Complete moderate level of configuration in support of daily run operations
• Participate in process optimization and root cause analysis discussions, offering solutioning guidance as appropriate
• Support Finance transformational efforts with solution discussion, design, and delivery support
• Guide testing efforts for new solutions and provide training as needed
• Act as a functional subject matter expert for the Record to Report (R2R) process - including journal entry, accounts reconciliation, financial closing, and compliance

Must Have

• 5 years conducting user interviews to gather requirements
• 5 years defining scope of the configuration management process
• 5 years preparing configuration control documents
• 5 years of Program/Project Management or Analysis
• 5 years reviewing specification requirements
• 5 years translating business requirements into technical specifications
• 5 years of SAP S/4 module configuration experience
• 5 years of S/4 operational support experience
• 5 years of SAP FICO operational support experience
• 5 years of systems analysis and systems configuration
• 2 years of S/4HANA experience

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Experience with financial analysis and processes
• SAP FICO certification
• SAP Concur configuration experience
• Experience with an automated financial closing tool (SAP Advanced Financial Close, OneStream, or similar)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO module including configuration and testing
• Experience with financial accounting and reporting processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field

2 rounds of Zoom interviews | Interim clearance is sufficient to start
