Job Description
To support scheduling for PET scans in Southeast Michigan, the full-time remote Scheduling Specialist will manage pre-registration, insurance verification, and complex appointment scheduling while collaborating on performance improvement initiatives.
##### Key responsibilities
Research, collect, and analyze data to identify opportunities and develop solutions for scheduling efficiency
Distribute analytical reports and collaborate on performance improvement activities to enhance patient experience
Utilize multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports, and develop educational materials
##### Required qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two to five years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access
National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one year of hire
Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software
Comprehensive knowledge of scheduling systems and complex diagnostic testing appointment processes
