About the Role

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll work with pupils who may display challenging behaviour due to trauma, anxiety, or unmet emotional needs. You'll provide 1:1 support and small group intervention, helping pupils develop positive relationships, regulate their emotions, and engage in learning.

You'll work as part of a dedicated and supportive team, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes personal growth and educational progress.

We're Looking For

• -Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, behavioural needs, or similar challenges
• -A calm, consistent, and non-judgemental approach
• -Resilience, empathy, and the ability to de-escalate situations effectively
• -Teamwork and strong communication skills
• -A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• -A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is helpful, but not essential
