Supporting day-to-day accounting operations for a real estate organization, the part-time Senior Accountant will manage financial records, coordinate receivables and payables, and ensure timely monthly close activities in a fully remote, long-term contract role.

##### Key responsibilities

Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities to maintain accurate financial transactions

Lead month-end close tasks and perform regular account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies

Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with documentation standards

##### Required qualifications

Experience using Yardi for financial data management

Demonstrated experience in month-end close processes in a senior accounting role

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation

Proven ability to conduct account reconciliations and resolve variances independently

Background in accounts payable and receivable processes within an accounting environment
