Looking for a role where no two client challenges are quite the same? Our client, a fast-growing, tech-enabled accountancy practice, is looking for a Senior Outsourced Finance Associate to join their busy and collaborative outsourced finance team.

This is a hands-on, varied position well suited to someone with solid practice experience who is ready to take on more responsibility. You will contribute to VAT compliance work and management accounts preparation, support junior colleagues, and play an active role in maintaining strong client relationships. What you'll be doing

Preparing and reviewing VAT returns for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations

Assisting in the preparation and analysis of management accounts, working closely with both onshore and offshore team members

Supporting task coordination within the team and providing practical guidance to more junior colleagues

Acting as a point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day queries and delivering timely, clear responses

Contributing to cash flow forecasting projects, helping clients gain greater visibility of their financial position

What we're looking for

A relevant professional accountancy qualification (such as AAT or equivalent), supported by at least three years' experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice

Confident working knowledge of cloud accounting software, particularly Xero and Excel

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver to deadlines in a busy environment

Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with clients and colleagues alike

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine commitment to ongoing professional development

Nice to have

Experience using additional finance tools such as Dext, Silverfin, or Syft

Prior experience collaborating with offshore or remote teams

Exposure to a multi-client or portfolio-based working environment
