Senior Business Analyst - Cybersecurity

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Cyber Program. The successful candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, experience working on technology and cyber-related initiatives, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams to deliver complex enterprise change.

This is a 12-month contract role.

Mandatory Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or banking.

Proven experience in Cybersecurity programs.

Experience working in Agile-Waterfall hybrid delivery models.

Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Plan and manage the Business Analysis approach to any project or BAU initiatives.

Translate complex business, strategic and technical information concisely for diverse audiences.

Strong experience in business process modelling, current-state and future-state analysis, requirements elicitation, traceability, prioritisation, validation, and stakeholder sign-off.

Understand, document and communicate the objectives, drivers and business value proposition of a change.

Perform solution evaluation during procurement, Proof of Concept, pilot and post implementation phases to ensure appropriate quality and fitness for purpose.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience in Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, Technology Risk, or Service Management projects

Experience with vulnerability management platforms such as ServiceNow SecOps, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, or similar solutions

Experience working with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders across the Reserve Bank and externally.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCBA, CBAP, Agile BA).

Experience with Confluence for documentation and collaboration.

Proficiency in JIRA for backlog management, user stories, and sprint tracking.

Familiarity with other collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Miro.
