About the role
Senior Consultant role based in Auckland with flexible working arrangements and remote options available elsewhere in New Zealand. The role involves working on projects from proposal concept through to presentation and completion, undertaking detailed and robust analysis, and contributing to business development activities.
Key responsibilities
Working on projects from proposal concept through to presentation and completion
Undertaking detailed and robust analysis for projects
Contributing to business development activities
Contributing to the development and maintenance of internal models and datasets
Communicating and liaising with clients, and managing projects and time
Leading junior staff by providing direction and guidance as required
Mentoring junior staff and supporting their development
About you
A relevant economics or geography degree
Strong numerical skills
Experience working with spatial data
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take the initiative
Well-rounded skills, including presentation, modelling, report writing, and project management experience
A confident communicator
Experience with Microsoft Office products, as well as statistical/data analytics software (R and/or GIS/QGIS would be an advantage)
Knowledge of the role of economic assessment under the Resource Management Act (RMA) and Fast Track Approvals Act (FTAA) would be an advantage
