Job Description
MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Estimator for our client, a leading construction contractor delivering residential, commercial and specialist construction projects across Northern Ireland and the East Coast of Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work, playing a key role in securing major projects while working within a supportive and collaborative pre-construction team.#
### Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders for a range of construction projects
Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to produce accurate cost estimates
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions
Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams throughout the tender process
Support handover of successful bids to the delivery and commercial teams
### About You
Experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the construction industry
Proven track record of pricing residential and commercial construction projects
Strong understanding of construction methods, procurement and contract documentation
Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
