The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the team that supports financial planning and reporting with RSM. This role reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager, Media.

**What you’ll be doing:**

  • Support and present Month End, Forecast, and Budget reviews by consolidating and articulating business results/insights and key KPIs
  • Provide visibility into financial performance and operational measures through the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting packages
  • Produce CRTC annual filings and monthly Industry reporting
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of financial models for forecasting/budgeting/month end reporting
  • Support monthly risks and opportunities analysis and incorporate into plans & forecasts
  • Support monthly capital budgets/forecasts
  • Assist in the modelling of RSM Long Range Plan, help support the process with business/finance primes to set meaningful and reasonable financial target/outcome for the RSM BU
  • Ad hoc financial analysis, as required

**What you’ll have:**

  • Individual should be a team player with proven organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in developing, preparing and presenting management reports
  • Strong problem-solving, operational and financial analysis skills with consistent attention to detail
  • The environment is dynamic and demanding. The individual must have a good work ethic and should be able to work well under pressure and under tight deadlines as required.
  • Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Experience working with Oracle, Essbase financial systems an asset
  • Experience in corporate or operational finance roles
  • University Degree and accounting/finance designation preferred
  • Experience in corporate or operational finance roles
