About the role
We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Manager to lead our FOH team at Juno. Located in the heart of Ponsonby, Juno is a coffee house by day and a wine bar by evening. We're a small, passionate and professional team, offering warm, welcoming hospitality and quality dine-in service seven days a week. Juno is a lively and busy venue, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, leads by example and is passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience.

About you
Experienced in front of house management

At Juno, we have a small team that is focused on making our space warm, professional and inviting. We all take great interest in food and wine. Our cafe is based around seasonal produce and celebrating it with a seasonal menu. We are looking for someone who has experience in staff management and venue management. We have a positive, small and dedicated team.
The role is full time with the expectation of a working one weekend day. The role will be inducted by our current lovely manager, whom is sadly leaving Auckland.
We are looking for a manager with,
Experience in running and maintaining a venue
Fast paced service style
An eye for detail in a space and personal presentation
An interest in cooking, food and wine
A personality that likes to work closely with a small friendly team
Promptness and neat presentation
Ability to guide staff with direction and communication
Staff training and upskilling and improved systems
Organizational skills and initiative
Good communication skills that relate to staff management
Barista experience is preferred
* Holding an LCQ and a current Duty Manager’s Certificate would be an advantage.
