Perform and review audit testing, evidence assessment and root-cause analysis, ensuring conclusions are well supported and relevant to the underlying risks.
Prepare clear and insightful audit reports and present significant findings, emerging risks and key themes to BARC and Senior Management.
Lead strategic, thematic and issue-driven reviews, while remaining actively involved in the underlying audit work.
Provide independent and constructive challenge over governance, risk management and internal controls.
Act as a key Internal Audit liaison with the RBNZ and Head Office Internal Audit Department.
Work closely with business, Risk and Compliance stakeholders to understand the business context and develop practical, forward-looking recommendations.
Provide coaching and quality review to other Internal Audit team members while maintaining a hands-on role in key assignments.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodology, quality and risk-focused practices.
