• You will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with high-net-worth and sophisticated investors, providing high-quality investment advice and helping clients achieve their long-term financial objectives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and develop a portfolio of high-net-worth and sophisticated clients
• Provide strategic investment advice based on individual client objectives, circumstances and risk profiles
• Develop, implement and review investment strategies and portfolios
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their professional networks
• Conduct regular portfolio and investment reviews
• Maintain a strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and economic developments
• Clearly communicate investment strategy, portfolio performance and market movements to clients
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and develop new client opportunities
• Generate and develop new business through professional networks, referrals and your existing market relationships
• Work closely with investment, research, operations and wider advisory teams
• Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance, governance and client documentation
• Contribute to the continued development and growth of the firm's advice proposition
• What We're Looking For.
• This role is suited to an established Investment Adviser who can bring experience, credibility and a strong client following or network.
• You will have:
• NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 – Investment strand (essential)
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Investment Adviser
• Proven experience providing investment advice to sophisticated and/or high-net-worth clients
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment products
• A track record of successfully managing and developing client relationships
• Strong commercial awareness and an appetite for business development
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-management skills
• The confidence to engage with financially sophisticated clients and decision-makers
• High levels of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail
• The ability to operate autonomously while working collaboratively within a broader team
• Experience within investment management, funds management, private wealth, stockbroking or an established wealth advisory environment will be highly relevant.
