Senior Maintenance Technician - Marine

Looking for a hands-on maintenance role where no two days are the same? Join the RealNZ team in Te Anau and help keep one of New Zealand's largest tourism vessel fleets operating safely and reliably.

What you'll be doing
You'll spend your time working alongside an experienced maintenance team to keep our vessels in top condition. Summer is focused on keeping the fleet running smoothly, while winter is when we tackle bigger maintenance and refit projects.
Some of the work includes
Carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
Diagnosing faults and fixing mechanical issues
Assisting with vessel refits and improvement projects
Completing maintenance records
Working safely as part of a supportive team
No two days are exactly the same, and you'll get the opportunity to work across a unique range of vessels and equipment.
What we're looking for
A relevant trade qualification
Experience with Maintenance Management Systems
5+ years' experience in marine, automotive, heavy diesel, or similar mechanical work
Good problem-solving skills and pride in your workmanship
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A full driver's licence
