About the Role
P3 Autos Limited is looking for a highly skilled, experienced and reliable Senior Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our busy workshop in Slough.
The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and major mechanical repairs across a wide range of UK-market car makes and models.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair suspension, steering and braking systems.
- Perform clutch replacements and gearbox repairs.
- Undertake major engine repairs, including timing belts, timing chains, cylinder heads and engine replacements.
- Diagnose mechanical faults accurately and efficiently.
- Work confidently on petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Complete repairs independently to a high professional standard.
- Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional mechanical experience.
- Extensive experience in servicing, suspension, clutch, gearbox and engine repairs.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems independently.
- Experience working on most common UK vehicle makes and models.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Experience with modern automotive diagnostic equipment.
Full UK driving licence.
