Leading high-impact projects, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and enhance a document-processing platform using Rust and C++, focusing on designing architecture, defining requirements, and optimizing performance in a remote work environment.
##### Key Responsibilities:
Transform product requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
Design and document system architecture, considering trade-offs in cost, latency, and security
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in a queue-driven pipeline processing millions of pages daily
##### Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in backend software development with Rust or C++
Proven track record of leading complex projects and designing multi-region systems
Expertise in distributed systems, including message queues and autoscaling
Experience with performance optimization, profiling, and benchmarking
Strong background in writing design documentation and translating requirements into scoped tasks
