Job Description

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior System Engineer will install, configure, and maintain IBM mainframe operating systems, including IBM z/OS, while working remotely in the United States.
##### Key responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS and ISV products using SMP/E
Troubleshoot system issues, analyze dumps, and resolve software-related problems
Collaborate with application teams and vendors for problem resolution and enhancements
##### Required qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline plus 10 years of experience
Strong experience with IBM z/OS internals and system components
Proficiency in JCL, REXX, SAS, COBOL, and TSO/ISPF
Experience with SMP/E for software installation and maintenance
Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation
