Senior Test Engineer - Fleet / Hybrid

We're currently seeking three experienced Test Engineers to join a major integration programme with a leading client based in London.

• Rate: Flexible (competitive day rate, depending on experience)

About the Role

You'll be joining a high-profile integration programme, working as part of a collaborative testing team to ensure seamless delivery and quality assurance across multiple Workday integrations. This is a hands-on testing role, ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases for Workday integrations.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and Workday consultants.
• Identify, log, and track defects to resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks.
• Analyse business and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications to identify test scenarios and potential risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and traceability aligned with project requirements.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects using tools such as Jira, ensuring clear reproduction steps, evidence, severity, and business impact.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA engineers to investigate issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Lead end-to-end testing activities for complex features and releases, coordinating testing across multiple systems and teams where required.
• Perform API and database validation using tools such as Postman and SQL to verify backend processing, data integrity, and integration points.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, providing QA input and risk assessment.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, promote QA best practices, contribute to improving test processes, and support continuous improvement of overall product quality.

• Pay: £36,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
