Sheet Metal Worker
Job Description
We’re currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers based in Brisbane, QLD to join our team on the Ampol Future Fuels Project. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent hours, competitive pay, and work on a major project within a global organisation.
About the role
As a Sheet Metal Workers, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of insulation systems across a range of industrial equipment, vessels, and piping. Working alongside experienced tradespeople and supervisors, you'll play a key role in delivering quality outcomes while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Roster: 10-hour days (Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities
Install and remove insulation and cladding on pipes, vessels, tanks, and equipment
Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality
Follow all site safety procedures and project requirements
Work collaboratively with site teams and supervisors
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
MUST be Brisbane-based
Demonstrated experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Current Construction White/Blue Card
Current Working at Heights, Confined Space certifications (issued within the last 2 years)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
Willingness to learn, develop, and expand your skillset
