Signage - Manufacturing Fabricator

NZ Sign Co, a leading Hamilton-based signage company, seeks a skilled fabricator professional with relevant trade experience to join our workshop team.

Position: Signage Manufacturing welder /Fabricator

Location: Hamilton Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 7.30 - 4pm (Overtime occasionally available)

Everything from large 9m pylons to smaller lightboxes . Low voltage LED illuminated and non illuminated signage.

Responsibilities

Eye for detail and pride in your work

Manufacture from raw materials ali, steel, acm panels, acrylic, multiboard

Perform MIG welding on both aluminum and steel components.

Use hand tools and power tools

Assemble finished products- illuminated signs, cladding with sheet panels, low voltage led systems, non illuminated signs

Inspect and find faulty components in defective products to fix them.

Able to problem solve, express ideas

Painting incl spray painting

Qualifications:

Must have a relevant trade qualification or experience for more than 2 years

Willingness to learn if you only bring part of the skills required

Proficient shop math skills/ follow drawings

Excellent attendance and communication skills.
