What You’ll Be Doing

Site Leadership & Team Coordination

You’ll be the go‑to person onsite—driving productivity, solving problems, and keeping the crew focused and safe.

Lead and direct daily site operations for both internal teams and subcontractors

Communicate clearly with the PM/CM about progress, needs, and challenges

Allocate tasks effectively and monitor completion

Support apprentices and developing team members to grow their skills

Quality, Safety & Productivity

Maintain and enforce site Health & Safety standards

Run site inductions and toolbox talks

Ensure workmanship meets QA requirements

Keep the site tidy, organised, and efficient

Progress, Planning & Problem‑Solving

You’ll keep the job moving forward while staying ahead of potential issues.

Track daily progress and contribute to site diaries

Identify issues early and work with PM/CM to resolve them

Help maintain programme timelines and flag risks or delays

What You’ll Bring

5+ years’ commercial construction site supervision experience

Strong understanding of sequencing and trade interfaces

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Practical problem‑solving ability

Confident communicator and proven team leader

Solid NZ Health & Safety knowledge (Site Safe or equivalent)

National Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4)
