Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Design and implement APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to enable seamless integration between different systems.

Maintain version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure code integrity and facilitate team collaboration.

Optimize application performance by writing efficient SQL queries for databases like MySQL and SQL Server.

Contribute to front-end development efforts to create intuitive user interfaces with modern frameworks and technologies.

Work within cloud environments such as AWS and Azure to deploy scalable solutions while ensuring security best practices.

Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance system reliability.

Document software processes and provide ongoing support for existing applications on Linux and Windows platforms.

Qualifications

Proven experience in software development with proficiency in JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, or Ruby on Rails.

Strong understanding of front-end development principles and frameworks.

Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, SVN, and Git.

Experience working with APIs (RESTful services) for data exchange between applications.

Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus.

Hands-on experience deploying applications in cloud environments like AWS or Azure.

Ability to work effectively on Linux-based systems and utilize tools like VBA for automation tasks when needed.

Pay: £27,600.00-£55,000.00 per year
