Software Development Director

**Job Duties** : Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a director of the software engineering division, apply extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.34589)

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires

• Software development in an enterprise environment over multiple product lifecycles using Java, Python, microservices, Rust, and service-oriented architecture;
• Cloud services development: software design, horizontal scaling, and operational excellence;
• High availability and observability development: multi-region systems, failover systems, alarming and metrics design, and origin shielding systems;
• Multi-tenant distributed systems design and operation: active-active and active-passive replication, A/B testing of features, tenant isolation, and data sovereignty
