The Position

Lead a high-volume production kitchen, overseeing daily preparation, large-scale batch cookery, and the delivery of exceptional food experiences across multiple events.

Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menus while ensuring quality, consistency, and operational excellence across all culinary offerings.

Manage a team of 20-30 chefs, fostering a positive culture through leadership and training.

Oversee culinary operations across retail and express outlets, ensuring efficient service, food presentation, and product consistency during peak trading periods.

Drive kitchen performance through effective inventory management, par level control and waste minimisation.

Adhere to and maintain the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and workplace health and safety.

The Person

Extensive experience in event culinary operations, with a proven track record of executing high-volume food production for large-scale operations

Demonstrated ability to develop creative and diverse event menus that cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences while ensuring culinary excellence and quality.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate culinary teams during fast-paced event environments, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.

Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards, coupled with experience in maintaining compliance with health and safety guidelines during event operations.
