Staff Engineer, Billing Growth Engineering

Develop and maintain infrastructure for Stripe's core product, specifically focused on billing and subscription management.

Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient systems to support the growth of our customers' businesses.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in billing and subscription management to continuously improve our product.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging of systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to billing and subscription management.

Mentor and train other engineers on best practices, coding standards, and efficient problem-solving techniques.

Continuously review and enhance existing infrastructure to improve efficiency and scalability.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.

Contribute to the growth and development of the team by actively participating in team meetings and sharing knowledge and expertise.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.

Keep track of project timelines and deliver high-quality work within the given timeframe.

Maintain documentation for systems and processes to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.

Constantly evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency of our systems.

Adhere to security and compliance standards to ensure the safety and protection of our customers' data.
