Store Person - New World Ashburton

Full Time

We’re on the hunt for a reliable, energetic, and customer focused Store Person to join our Dry Goods team. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, take pride in keeping things running smoothly, and want to be part of a supportive team culture, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a Store Person, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our stock flows efficiently from delivery to shop floor. You’ll help maintain high standards of presentation, safety, and customer service across the Dry Goods/Grocery Department. Your work helps keep our shelves full, our storerooms organised, and our customers happy.

What We’re Looking For:

A passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Strong attention to detail when handling stock, paperwork, and deliveries

Reliability, integrity, and a proactive approach to daily tasks

Clear, respectful communication and a positive attitude with customers and colleagues

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment

Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and active work

Commitment to food safety, workplace safety, and hygiene standards

A team‑focused mindset that contributes to a supportive, motivated, and safe work culture

Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of responsibilities

Flexibility to work additional hours when required

A current forklift licence would be an advantage

Days & Hours of Work:

Sunday – Weds 5:30am – 4:30am
