Job Description

C&Y NZ LIMITED is seeking a friendly and organized Mandarin-speaking Store & Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our East Tamaki branch. The Store & Warehouse Assistantwill support daily store operations, assist customers, and ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience. Key responsibilities include:

Cashier & Customer Service

POS & Cashiering: Process transactions accurately, operate the POS system, and maintain a balanced cash register.

Customer Care: Greet customers, answer phone inquiries, and provide knowledgeable support using solid product understanding.

Order Processing: Record and manage customer orders efficiently to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

Stocking & Inventory

Storage & Upkeep: Organize stock, maintain clear placement, and keep storage/warehouse areas clean and safe.

Restocking & Handling: Assist with moving and restocking inventory, including operating a forklift (or willingness to learn).

Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, track discrepancies, and assist with preparing and packaging customer orders.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude.

• Detail-oriented with good multitasking abilities.

• Prior experience in retail or a similar role is preferred.

Language Proficiencies:
