We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all food preparation surfaces are sanitized.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking ingredient levels and notifying management when supplies are low.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and handling transactions using the POS system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, including sanitation practices and food handling procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
