Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our fast-paced food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in quick service or fast food environments. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Previous experience working at Subway and POS systems is a plus, along with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems including order processing and cash handling
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with health regulations
• Manage food inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed
• Handle cashier duties including processing payments accurately and efficiently
• Ensure timely order completion to meet customer expectations in a quick service environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail food environments is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings
• Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time
