Job Description
Te Mahi/About the Position
We are offering the opportunity for you to join a small, dedicated team of Support Workers providing 24/7 care across seven days a week for a client with complex needs. This role involves working one-on-one to deliver high-quality, person-centred support in a home environment.
Key responsibilities include
Providing personal care and domestic assistance
Meal preparation and medication oversight
Hoisting and safe manual handling
Indirect supervision and community transport
Supporting the client in line with best practice standards
He momo/About you
To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes:
Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification
(Level 2 with relevant experience and/or working towards Level 3 will also be considered)
Strong understanding of the Support Worker role
Experience supporting clients with spinal cord injury or similar complex needs
Confidence working one-on-one with a client
Effective communication skills
Willingness to complete any additional training required (with support provided)
Ability to perform all aspects of the Support Worker role in line with best practice
